Local Rules:
Stones in Bunkers
- Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions. Rule 24-1 applies.
Young Trees
- If newly planted trees which are staked interfere with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted without penalty and dropped n accordance with Rule 24-2b (Immovable Obstruction).
Ditches
- Ditches on the course are water hazards and Rule 26-1 applies.
Out of Bounds
- Over any boundary wall surrounding the course. The area to the right of the 4th/13th fairway when playing the hole. The practice ground located to the left of the 2nd fairway and identified by white posts is OUT OF BOUNDS.
Clubhouse and car parks
- Ball lying within marked area surrounding clubhouse and car park as out of bounds. Ball lying on or beyond road or car park on Maxwell Park side of the course is OUT OF BOUNDS.
Practice Green - This area is OUT OF BOUNDS.
Ground under repair rule
(Rule 25-1):
a) Areas marked as GUR by BLUE stakes or enclosed by WHITE lines.
b) Embedded rocks - Through the green - Ball lodging on rock entitles the player to a free lift and drop within one club’s length, nearest point of relief.
c) Any deep impressions made by tractors or other greens equipment.
If a player’s ball comes to rest on any stone chip path, such as that running between the 1st green and the back of the 2nd tee, relief can be taken by dropping the ball at the nearest available point, without penalty, not nearer the hole, in accordance with Rule 24-2b of the R&A Rules of Golf.
A ball resting on a wood or bark chip path must be played as it lies.
